Colocation services in Amsterdam: dedicated racks, cages and suites

Advisor, not reseller. We size the racks, check which hall has your kW free and negotiate the price; you sign with the datacenter, and the datacenter pays our fee. Amsterdam only, because that is the metro we run our own production kit in.

What you get

Four things, and no sales process around them.

01
A sized requirement, not a guess
We start from the gear you run: rack count, kW per rack, A+B feeds, ports. Sometimes that is fewer racks than you asked for.
Engineered
02
A campus chosen on merit
Science Park, Schiphol-Rijk or Amsterdam-Zuidoost, at an operator such as Digital Realty or NorthC. We say which hall and why.
Independent
03
A negotiated price
We know what a rack, a committed kW and a cross-connect cost here, so the first quote is a real number instead of a list price.
No markup
04
A technical contact afterwards
Move-in scheduling, cross-connect orders, power upgrades. Same email, for as long as you want us.
After signing
Specs that matter

The six numbers a quote turns on.

Everything else on a colocation quote follows from these. Bring them to the first call and you skip a round of discovery.
Power per rack
3–10 kW air-cooled in standard halls. With liquid cooling 20–70 kW is common, and NVL72-class racks draw 120 kW and more. Committed kW, not a fuse rating.
Redundancy
A+B feeds on separate paths, N+1 cooling, generators behind them. The SLA is the datacenter’s, not ours.
Connectivity
AMS-IX and NL-ix ports, cross-connects in the meet-me room, dark fibre to Nikhef. Your carriers, your IP space.
Access
24/7 badge access to your own racks, cage or suite. Your keys, your badge list.
Remote hands
Ordered from the datacenter, per incident or on a monthly bundle. We size it with you before the quote.
Footprint
One dedicated rack upwards, through cages to a full suite. No 1U, no half racks, no shared racks.
How we place it

Four steps. Best deal, no markup.

  1. 01
Tell us what you needRack count, kW per rack, redundancy, carriers and the date you need to be live.
  2. 02
We engineer and negotiateWe size the footprint, shortlist halls with the power and carriers you need, then push the price.
  3. 03
We fast-track the introductionThe right account manager gets your requirement pre-filled, so the first call is about the quote.
  4. 04
You contract with the datacenterTheir contract, their invoice, their SLA. We stay on as technical contact.
Who we’ll send elsewhere

Not for 1U, shared racks or another metro.

If you need a few servers in someone else’s rack with bundled transit and one invoice, that is a real product and some parties do it well, so we will tell you who to call. Same answer if London or Frankfurt fits your users better. We do dedicated racks, cages and suites in Amsterdam, and we would rather be exactly right about one metro than vague about ten.
Questions we get

Scope, reselling, sites, lead time and price.

What counts as colocation here?

Dedicated racks, cages and suites in an Amsterdam datacenter: your own space, your own committed power, your own carriers, and your own contract with the operator.

Do you resell colocation?

No. You contract with the datacenter; their contract, their invoice, their SLA. The datacenter pays us a fee. We never add a margin.

Which Amsterdam datacenters can you place me in?

Operators such as Digital Realty and NorthC, across Science Park, Schiphol-Rijk and Amsterdam-Zuidoost. We pick on power ceiling, carriers in the meet-me room and availability, not on who pays best. The questions we put to each operator are in Digital Realty vs NorthC.

How long does a placement take?

A sanity check within one business day, a real quote from the datacenter within a few business days after that. Build-out then depends on the hall and the power you commit. For how much room Amsterdam has left, and why, read Capacity in Amsterdam in 2026.

What does a rack cost?

A monthly rack fee plus a per-kW charge for committed power, plus one-off cross-connects and IX ports. The build-up is on our pricing page; the negotiation room sits in the one-offs. A worked four-rack example is in the note on negotiating a rack price.
